Grocery Shopping

Panda and I went grocery shopping at whole foods for the first time...with some help from Grandpa Jim and Auntie Colette! We got everything we needed and had a great time! The Panda Bear slept through it all.

Babe in Toyland

We got Chloe some new toys and they were a big hit! She was perhaps a bit overstimulated by them though as she had no interest in an afternoon nap yesterday...she only wanted to cry and be carried around. But look at that big smile!

Office Lunch

Chloe and I had lunch with Cookie, Grandpa Jim, Auntie Barbara and Auntie Colette at J Alexander's on Thursday. Chloe really enjoyed herself, and Barbara held her the whole time which meant I had my hands free to actually eat! It was wonderful! We even walked there and back from Kenmore, so we got a little exercise after those heaping portions. Good times...

Spring Has Sprung

Now that Chicago is warming up we get to experiment with Chloe's spring/summer wardrobe! Her purple dress/onesie is my new favorite! She looks so cute in purple!!

Lunch and Public Indecency!

We went out for lunch today with Jill (aka The Baby Whisperer), Simon and Harry in Oak Park. Chloe woke up when a very loud ambulance blew by us honking it's horn. She was inconsolable and seemed hungry so I tried out breastfeeding in public for the first time. We were eating alfresco since the day was so fine, so I was literally on the street for this first try. It worked out well in the end (I was worried it would be a challenge as I'd never even fed her without the Boppy let alone under scrutiny!) and Chloe felt much better after she had lunch. After our meal we had a nice swing at the neighborhood park. It was a great adventure! I think we all had fun!
