Today we had a super fun play date with Susie and Skyler and Aimee and Leila. Skyler and Leila were both born in August so they had quite a lot in common and Chloe enjoyed playing with babies who were younger, if not smaller, than she.

Halloween New Mom's Group Reunion

I have missed these women and babies so much! It was great to see Caroline, Devorah, Katie and their progeny -Miles, Harold and Milo, respectively- at Caroline's house on Saturday. Halloween Wiggleworms

Yesterday we had a special costume party Wiggleworms. It was super cute! There was a lion, a chicken, a monkey, a ladybug, a cow, and a panda dressed as a dragon! We got dressed at Cookie and Granpda Jims and then walked to class.

Oz Park

Panda and I had the best day today! It was the most fun we have ever had! After having lunch with Daddy we spent the afternoon at Oz Park. We went for a walk, laid out, took a nap, played airplane, lounged, looked at dogs and nursed. It was epic. I will never forget this wonderful day! Plenty more pictures where this came from.

The Nursery is Turning Into a Nursery!

Finally! Mark and I spent MLK Day getting our parental act together. We set up the nursery (decided what went where), and decorated it to make it nice and childish. We hung some butterflies, put up some bird decals, strung up the mobile, got a new rug and voila! The room is definitely starting to resemble a nursery! See for yourself. It only took forever.

Baby Shower!

Thanks to everyone for coming to my shower yesterday! It was so much fun to celebrate and catch up with you all, and especially to open the presents and coo over the massive cuteness! I had such a great time!

A special thanks to Susan for hosting! Your home was the perfect place for this shindig and it couldn't have looked better! The food was fantastic! I had so much fun, I really didn't want to leave. Thank you so much for all your hard work!

Baby's First Pics!!!

I know you all have been excited to see the results of little Wilhelmina/Sloane/Abernathy's first photo shoot, but I haven't had a chance to scan them. Finally I just gave in today and took pictures of the pictures. They didn't turn out that great, but you can definitely tell it's a baby, which is about what the original photos convey. Without further ado here she is:


I have no idea how but from the picture above our doctor was able to almost positively ascertain (he said he was 95% sure) that our baby-to-be is a girl. I don't see it myself, but I have a soft spot in my heart for this picture because he wrote BABY GIRL on it and made my day!
