Auntie Sashi

Caution: extremely belated post!
I did my major blog update yesterday night and I forgot a very important happening of last weekend...Auntie Sashi was it town for Thanksgiving! We got back from Boston Saturday morning, so we got to spend a good part of the weekend together, which was really nice.

Don't they both have lovely shiny hair??

Ho Ho Ho!

'Tis the season...to decorate my house in as much sparkle and glitter as I want and play Christmas carols all day long! My favorite time of year! Christmas-Elf-Panda and Mrs-Claus-Cookie helped me decorate the house while we rocked out to the "Santa Baby" station on Pandora.

Boston Grodzins

When we were in Boston we ended up seeing relatives from the Grodzins side of the family as well. A happy time was had by all! We went swimming with Dean, Nora and Lily at the Charles Hotel and had a wonderful time. The girls looked like sisters with their ringlets and sparkling blue eyes! Chloe was absolutely fascinated by her beautiful, charming, sweet and silly older cousin. We also got to see Misha and Kelly and stay up late Wednesday night. That was a special treat for sure!

Thanksgiving in Boston

This year we went to Boston to celebrate Thanksgiving with Mark's side of the family. It was a grand Woodall-Neville-Oates reunion and the Thanksgiving feast was perfectly scrumptious! Chloe had a wonderful time reconnecting with everyone and showing off all her new skills. For the first half of our visit we stayed at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge and on Thanksgiving morning we moved in with Aunt Anne and had a big slumber party with everyone! It was so much fun! We miss everyone now that we're back in Chicago, but we're looking forward to seeing everyone at the end of the month!

Happy Halloween!

Panda Dragon and Simon Chicken celebrated Halloween together at Kenmore this year. We had a fun time gawking at kids (and some parents) trick-or-treating, eating rum cake and osso bucco, and having an educational red wine tasting...they all tasted delicious to me!

Halloween New Mom's Group Reunion

I have missed these women and babies so much! It was great to see Caroline, Devorah, Katie and their progeny -Miles, Harold and Milo, respectively- at Caroline's house on Saturday. The kiddos looked so cute in their costumes and the boys fawned over Chloe, eating her wings and pulling her hair! Boys will be boys, Pan...

See all the pictures from the reunion here.

Halloween Party @ Cleos

Jill, Simon, Harry, Chloe and I went to a party at costume party Cleos today with stories, games, snacks, candy and lots and lots of babies and kids to watch and play with. It was raining and it was hectic! We had a good time and switched up costumes for the day. She's a pretty bee!

Halloween Wiggleworms

Yesterday we had a special costume party Wiggleworms. It was super cute! There was a lion, a chicken, a monkey, a ladybug, a cow, and a panda dressed as a dragon! We got dressed at Cookie and Granpda Jims and then walked to class.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Mommy turned 27 last week and celebrated by seeing Harry Potter, having a cupcake picnic at Trebes Park with other moms and babies, being surprised with a gorgeous bouquet waiting at home (thank you, Mister!) and having a voluptuous feast at Sunda. It was a wonderful day!

B'more

We went on our first official family vacation: Baltimore for the first week of July! We survived our first plane ride, Chloe met lots of new friends and family members, we celebrated the 4th of July, and spent plenty of time in Milly and Gundor's beautiful garden. It was a very relaxing and fun holiday! Click here to see more photos of everyone in Baltimore!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

To celebrate our first Father's Day we had our friends Alan, Jill, and Simon and my parents and Sasha over for brunch. We had a Bloody Mary Station, as well as mimosas, fresh fruit, mushroom and sausage strata, an arugula salad and fleur de sel brownies. YUM! Click here to view more pictures of the event.
