New Couple Alert!

Here's Chloe with her friend Milo from our Wednesday Mom's group. I give them a week. ;-)

Chloe's First Trade

Chloe Hung out with Grandpa Jim and her aunties Barbara and Colette at McKay Trading while Mommy went to her second Bar Method class (ouch! It is hard). She sat on Grandpa Jim's knee and helped him make a morning trade.

Chloe Can Hold Her Rattle

Proof!

The End of an Era

Our beloved next door neighbors Bethany, Eric and Gunnar are moving to Indiana later this month. It is soooo sad! We are going to miss them so much. But for now we are trying to make the most of the last few precious weeks. Here's Gunnar offering me some cereal. Thanks!

Daddy Gives Panda a Bottle

Panda's used to getting her milk fresh from the source, but for a change of pace here's Dad taking on a night feeding for the first time.

Panda Visits the MCA

Auntie Sasha, Grandpa Jim and I took Chloe to the Museum of Contemporary Art for lunch and an hearty dash of culture. We went to see the Buckminster Fuller collection, but Chloe was truly wowed by the absolutely mesmerizing study of light refraction on the first floor. Here's Chloe strolling through a kaleidoscopic rainbow tunnel, a highlight of the "Take Your Time" exhibit. The first museum trip was an official success!

BBQ Lunch

We grilled some burgers for lunch with the Quicks last weekend. It was delicious. The sun was a shinin' and we came up with some inventive ways to protect the little ones from its harsh rays.

Growing Up

Our little Panda is getting so big. She weighed in at 10 pounds 4 ounces at her doctor's appointment yesterday, and she's growing out of her smallest clothes. She can no longer wear her Panda onesie pictured above! :-(
Here are some new things Panda can do:
-bat at toys
-roll from back to side
-sort of laugh (big smile with a gaspy intake of air)
-partial push up from tummy time position

It's so fun to watch her grow!

Happy 88th!

The Imase-Hiyama-Oda side of the family gathered on Sunday to celebrate Grandma Lucy's Hachi Ju Hachi. Click here to view more photos of the festivities.

More LV Panda

I'm sorry, but this bear is so cute!
