Tummy Time!
Panda has been getting lots of tummy time with Daddy. I missed the beginning of this session, but got the camera on at the end, when she'd had just about enough!
First Pediatrician Visit!
Yesterday (Day 6) Mark, Chloe and I ventured out of the house for the first time since I went into labor! It was a beautiful, sunny day, but chilly enough to require an adorable hat! Chloe got a great review from Dr. Clark, and we will be back for a follow up visit on the 8th. We discovered that Chloe loves her car seat! I was surprised, because it didn't look very comfortable (I thought she was going to be strangled!) but she was quite content even when it was not moving and she was awake! The only time she cried was when we put the hat on... But don't worry, she'll come to love her accessories just as much as Mommy does!
Mommy and Baby

Sadly, today Mark headed back to work. So it is my first day with Chloe on my own...I even changed a diaper this morning! His week of paternity leave was magical and I know we both wish it could have lasted forever. Chloe and I miss him so much and can't wait for him to get home. Above is Chloe and me on Day 2.
This is Chloe yesterday morning...looking gorgeous! I love my sweet sweet baby!

Day 5
We all slept pretty well last night (that is, we are becoming accustomed to waking up every other hour or so for feeding/changing etc. and are all able to fall blissfully back asleep after it's all taken care of). This morning Panda spent some quality time bonding with dad, doing tummy time exercises and enjoying some skin to skin contact. This morning we both noticed her skin is paler, and her eyes more focused. Here is a picture of our alert little Chloe, healthily stimulated by her bonding time with dad.Time for another feeding!
