Gorgeous Beach House

We drove up to Ogden Dunes, Indiana yesterday afternoon to visit our friends Eric, Bethany and Gunnar at their new place. Situated on the border of a national park, their house -more like a manor- has the most magnificent view Lake Michigan can offer, complete with the Chicago Skyline floating on the horoizon. Simply breathtaking! The day was blustery so we bundled up the babes and went for a stroll on the "Sunset Coast" and had a grand ole time catching up with our one-time next-door neighbors. We miss you guys so much, but will come hang out on your beach any time! xoxoxo

SITTING UP!

Yesterday Panda learned how to sit up unassisted. She couldn't do it yesterday morning, but by the late afternoon she was confidently and consistently able to sit up all by herself! It was so amazing, and I'm so proud of her! Above we are sitting up together in the dressing room at J. Crew (I know, so random...) practicing our new skill in front of the full length mirror, and then at home showing off for Dad! He just about fell down the stairs when he saw he sitting there!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Mommy turned 27 last week and celebrated by seeing Harry Potter, having a cupcake picnic at Trebes Park with other moms and babies, being surprised with a gorgeous bouquet waiting at home (thank you, Mister!) and having a voluptuous feast at Sunda. It was a wonderful day!

Last weekend Pokey was in town and she stayed with us Sunday and Monday nights. She and Panda had a blast getting to know each other. It was so nice to see her after well over a year! We all went down to Millenium Park for the day
